Delivery Hub
Delivery Hub
Purpose
The Delivery Hub is the first page under Deliveries. For a period and site, it shows what arrived, what was rejected, what was accepted despite a problem, and which problems still need a corrective action.
Overview
- Period and site come first. Days are local days at the chosen site, or in the workspace's zone for all sites. Deliveries are counted by the day they were received.
- Deliveries received: each delivery is counted once, by its worst item:
- Rejected: at least one item was rejected.
- Accepted with an issue: nothing was rejected, but an item arrived with damaged packaging or outside its required temperature.
- No temperature taken: an item was accepted without a measured temperature. That is expected for dry goods. For chilled or frozen food it means there is no record of the arrival temperature.
- Accepted, temperatures recorded: every item was accepted, intact, with a temperature, and none was outside its range.
- Every figure opens the deliveries it counts.
- No corrective action recorded: deliveries with a rejected, damaged or out-of-range item that has no corrective action.
- Suppliers with problem deliveries: the suppliers with the most rejected or problem deliveries in the period.
- Waiting on a corrective action: delivery corrective actions that are still open, whatever the period.
- Print receiving log for this period prints the same deliveries as the figures.
Delivery Settings
Setup has its own page, Delivery Settings, at the bottom of the Deliveries menu:
- Categories, Required Temperatures and Items: what staff pick from when they record a delivery, and the temperature range each item must arrive within.
- Map: how suppliers, categories, items and required temperatures connect.
- Import Global Defaults adds any missing default categories, required temperatures and items.
Anyone who can open the hub can open Delivery Settings. Changing setup needs the manage delivery hub permission.
