Yes. Start from our FSANZ-aligned starter packs, build checklists from your own plan, or send us your plan and we will set it up for you.
We supply and set up the hardware. Our director, Adam, still personally handles many installations and calibrations, so the probes are placed and tested properly from day one.
Probe monitoring is priced per probe and billed quarterly. The Digital Food Safety System is a flat monthly price. Hardware is a one-off purchase. See the pricing section or talk to us about larger groups.
Yes. Medical practices use SmartProbe to monitor vaccine fridges continuously, with alerts for power outages and temperature spikes, and records that support Strive for 5.
You choose who is notified for each site, by SMS or email. Each SMS is one short message, and the email carries the detail and a link to the incident.
Check that your address is listed as a recipient for that site in the Notification Manager, and check your junk folder. If it still does not arrive, contact us and we will check the delivery log.
No. A manager can hand a kitchen tablet or phone over in kiosk mode. Staff complete their checks there, and the rest of the account stays locked.
Yes. Owners see every site. Site managers see only the sites they run, including their records, alerts and people.
They show your auditor due diligence: why a temperature moved, what was done about it and when. SmartProbe raises one for each problem and keeps it on the record until it is verified.
The SmartProbe tablet keeps collecting readings and uploads them as soon as the connection is back. Nothing is lost, and old readings do not set off a flood of alerts when they arrive.
Probes run on standard AAA batteries that last up to two years in normal conditions. SmartProbe sends a low-battery alert well before they run out.
Remove the battery cover on the back of the probe, replace the two AAA batteries and put the probe back. Fresh batteries can cause a brief temperature spike in a cold appliance, so log a corrective action such as "Batteries changed".
Yes. We run an in-house calibration service and issue a certificate for every probe, kept in SmartProbe. The interval is set per probe to suit your industry, and SmartProbe reminds you before one is due.
Each sensor is accurate to ±0.5°C, so two correct probes can read up to a degree apart. Fridges also cycle on and off, so the temperature rises and falls through the day. What matters is the average over time: if that drifts, the appliance may need adjusting.
Move it between fridges or sites whenever you need to. Its past readings stay with the place and time zone they were taken in, so your history stays accurate.
You do. Print, email or export your records whenever you need them for audits, management or your own review.
